For over two centuries, since the French Revolution, we have lived in the political era. The Revolution of 1789 promised "Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité," but delivered the opposite. The French Revolution laid the groundwork for the dictatorship of Napoleon, who sought to conquer Europe. The imperialism of the 19th century was far from embodying liberty, equality, and brotherhood, and the wars of the 20th century were no different. Over the past decades, the politicization of society has escalated, showing signs of a collective suicide. Worldwide, the worst individuals rise to the top. In the third decade of the 21st century, we are closer than ever to nuclear annihilation. By allowing politics to dominate our lives, we have become modern slaves.
Many well-meaning people attempt to improve politics, believing that better politicians will lead to better policies. This is a grave error. A good person may enter politics, but cannot remain good and stay in politics. We are ruled by corrupt individuals, regardless of how they attained power. Democracy does not guarantee freedom. Better politics is not an option because there is no such thing as better politics. We must take the opposite direction. To eliminate the threat of state-induced global destruction and totalitarian oppression, we must embrace antipolitics. We must strive for the abolition of politics. Support SAP.
